A vida Inteira que podia ter sido e que não foi | 2007-2010

The Vermelhos series began in 2007. Its first presentation took place at the Museu de Arte Contemporânea do Ceará, where incisions were made directly into the exhibition walls. On these surfaces, I incorporated drawings in watercolor and Chinese ink, accompanied by poems by Manuel Bandeira. The intervention occupied an area of 32 square meters in one of the museum’s galleries. It received an award in the drawing category at the Bienal Unifor Plástica in 2009.

Part of the series of boxes was later acquired for the collection of the Banco do Nordeste do Brasil. Subsequently, the series unfolded into new formats, such as boxes, and expanded into the appropriation of vernacular photography, broadening its poetic and material possibilities. This series was awarded in the drawing category at the Unifor Plástica Biennial in 2009.
